Throne of Lamara / Krysa
It's a big spiky magic crystal throne prevented from turning to dust by being linked to a root from a magic tree that's so stupidly huge that its back is basically an extra layer to the wall it was grown against and to reiterate that it's spiky it's very spiky.
Many of the spikes have skulls on them, each of them coming from a major foe the Krysa Empire has faced and defeated from foreign conquerers to those themselves resisting conquest to the leaders of major uprisings. Most of these skulls also have some jewelry of some form from when they were alive, especially their crowns, cos it's cool that's why.
Through every skull's eye sockets loops a tiny crystal chain. Hanging from that chain is a little stone tablet with some information about the person that its skull is hanging from with the following format:
Name:
(leader of what):
Year and cause of death:
A fun quote!:
One example of this was the skull of Olag Ozymandius, who formed a great empire to the West and invaded Lamara only to be defeated:
Olag Ozymandius
Emperor of Garzat
Flayed alive 7342
He thought his words were mighty, yes ours made him tremble.
Overall cool chair- but there's more.
Nobody can sit on the throne except the Monarch. Otherwise they get executed.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Is linked to the Krysa Tree's roots, providing the constant upkeep of magic needed to keep the throne from collapsing into dust (Krysa crystal turns to dust when it runs out of magic).
Significance
It is the throne of the Monarch of Lamara for anyone else to sit on it is punishable by death. The way in which a person is killed for it is generally pretty ruthless, for example one maid sat on it when dared to by a princess and was immediately ratted out by that same princess and publically burnt to death.
Also hosts a nice historical skull collection.

Raw materials & Components
The whole thing is made of Krysa crystal. There are some pillows and a carpet on it but those were added afterwards and not really a part of the throne itself, to the point where they're often removed from the throne before its use when delivering serious speeches.
