Human Coins Original Concept

If you are not a Magna with the power of the Gobbets, nor a Journeyman with the power of your cracking boots, nor a King or Mayor with the power of your power, what could you use? How did the ordinary citizens of Aerth make their way? What did they use for power among themselves?   The Fae used the air for their Fae-ness.   The Trolls used the stone for their Troll-ness.   The Seakin used the sea for their Kin-ness.   The Draco used fire for fire's sake.   Humans had intrigue. Human's used the unreal for their real purposes. What product did Human's have that represented this unreality?   Well. They used coins. Money. Humans have always used wealth to acquire their unrealistic needs. If you had much coin, you had much unreality. Therefore you were High Goomba among all the other Goombas.

History & Usage

Reusability & Recycling

The Melting Cauldrons in the royal blacksmith shop are often used for melting down Bits that have cracked over time and usage. The distinguishing stripe is obviously lost in this process and many, many 1Bit pieces are created.   Queen Bilza once melted the edges of her cracked Bits, all of which were of course emerald or gold striped, and formed herself a very beautiful and very expensive crown.   Basically if you can melt stone you can use cracked Bits in any way you desire.
