Accord Commissioned Officer
ACO's also known as "the Commissioned" is a title awarded to non-military agents that work under contract for the Accord Navy Force or the Accord Intelligence Division
Becoming an ACO means that the individual, their crew and their ship remains indipendent but under the laws of the Accord, the can be drafted at any given time to take part in operations and act as standard military units. In effect an ACO is a mercenary working for the Accord, in the locations of The Reach where the might of the Accord cannot extend. This mostly includes the Outer Rim and in some cases the Inner Rim's outer colonies.
When an ACO is not directly drafted by the Accord they still act under the juristiction of the organization. They are able to track and arrest any criminals or members of organizations the Accord has deemed illegal. This gives them their second name "Bounty hunters" or "Long range attack dogs".
Requirements
In order to become a ACO the following requirements must be fulfilled.
The applicant has to be the owner of the Grade C and above armed vessel.
The applicant has to have achieved at least a level C knowledge degree of academic excellence
The applicant has to have knowledge of advanced weapon systems and military tactcs
The applicant has to be a full member of the Accord and have equipped a nanocomputer with a digital identity and an accord approved digital wallet.
Appointment
Appointment of an ACO is made after the completion of their first successful mission approved by a Navy Officer of Coloner rank or above.
