Enthar Trading Company

Structure

1. Magnate Medsom - the founder of the Enthar Shipping Company, Medsom is a distant relative of the current rulers of the Enthar Empire. Also known as Mad Medsom, he's vicious when it comes to business, and more than one man who has disappointed him have found themselves mysteriously missing.
2. Secretary Kanithon - Medsom's right-hand-man. Some whisper that Kanithon is the real brains behind the corporation, but none would say so to either Medsom or Kanithon's face.
3. Master - men who have bought into the business and own hubs across the Enthar coastline. While they all answer to the Magnate and, by extension, the Secretary, each Master mostly has control of their own domain and ships, within the bounds of what is asked of them from the company.
4. Captains - the Enthar Trading Company doesn't hire freelance sailors, every boat, man, and trade good is owned by the company. However, once on the ocean, Captains are in charge of their own crew and getting the goods where they need to go.
5. At the bottom on the ladder are all the rest, shippers, packers, sailors etc.

Culture

The Enthar Trading Company is well-known for its strict, and no-nonsense approach to its competition. They are also infamous for their lack-of-regard for the natural resources of Syshir, preferring to take now, rather than worrying about sustainability or the people that need such environments to exist.  Conveniently, they seem to consistently escape prosecution for their underhand business practices from the Empire itself, with some citing Magnate Medsom's relation to the current Conqueror as the reason why they're never punished.

Assets

The Enthar Trading Company is the largest shipping company in Syshir, and supports close to 500 ships of varying sizes to transport their huge amount of goods and services across the world.
