The Crater, Alnea

  • Near the southwest ocean, a peculiar crater rests deep within the thick forest that encapsulates that entire area.
  • The ‘meteor’ fell from the sky in the year 1836, reports of a loud explosion in the area led explorers to the fallen object, which turned out to be the International Space Station that was taken by a portal that appeared on earth in 2328.
  • The myth that was created around the ISS was that it was a gift from the gods.
  • It was harvested and its broken electronics were taken from the craft and stored for future inventors who could understand the technology. Word spread of the fallen meteor, with most people taking it as a gift from their loving gods, and moving on with their lives.
  • However, some people didn't buy it, especially the Alfred Morris family, who immediately hired a team of explorers and researchers who were devoted towards the research and study of the advanced technology, finding phrases and passages written on the walls of as many pieces of the ISS they could find, eventually piecing together the modern English language from similar words and by using the Magician Sorcery Cypher
  • He learned about earth and its human inhabitants, about the International Space Station and how it flies in the sky instead of staying on the ground, how there was probably no magic on earth, and that their technology is over a thousand years more advanced than theirs even though earth was only a couple years more advanced than they were.
  • Instead of publishing his research and findings, he destroyed all of the evidence and falsely preached the myth about how the fallen meteor was a gift from the gods, keeping the devastating news that there is an advanced race of humans living on earth, dying with this secret and never telling a soul.
