Valerie The Shining

Valerie the Shining is a constellation in the north-eastern quadrant of the night sky above Orya. It is a brilliant constellation made in dedication to the paladin of the same name. Purite likes to honor those that could wield Maker Magic, as those individuals were always pure of heart and soul. It is for this reason that the star placed where Valerie's heart would be shines the brightest in the constellation. Valerie the Shining is one of three constellations made in dedication of users of Unmaker Magic, with the other two residing in the north-western quadrant and south-western quadrant of the night sky.
The constellation itself came into being shortly after Valerie's death in 373 4.E. It is a series of stars that form the rough image of Valerie standing with her Creation Bringer thrust into the ground before her, her hands on its pommel. Purite and Teras created the constellation to commemorate and honor the life of Valerie, who had been a noble and upstanding paladin that changed the lives of many people, both current and future, across multiple societies. She is relegated as one of history's greatest heroes.
Since Valerie was an important figure to the Arachnae, it holds incredible historical and cultural significance to them. It is a beacon of hope to their culture, and in times of stress many travel north to see the constellation. Some Arachnae even migrate from their home country to live in the north-eastern quadrant of Orya. To the Arachnae it is an eternal symbol of hope and prosperity. And to the Humans it holds a similar significance, as Valerie was the hero that held back The King of All Calamities during the Human Eradication Incident in 280 4.E. Because of this, Valerie is an eternal symbol of protection and sanctuary for the Humans.
