The Hallows

When Faen had killed his brother, he regretted his actions. He fell to the ground in despair and as his body hit the ground he formed hills around his body. He formed the Hallows. The Hallows are now a holy place, where the dwarves hold the Falling Stars Festival and make pilgrimages to. Cairns cover the ground, where dwarves have marked where they prayed.
Tranor, king of the Dwarves, had arrived at the Hallows. He looked upon the grounds where his forefathers before had come. He turned to his right and saw where the rolling plains showed small humps and flowers littered the ground. The graves of his forefathers. Soon, he too would lie there. He walked to the Hallows, supported by his son, Talnor.   "Our ancestors came here before us, and Faen before them. Now I have come, to lay my eyes on the hills of the Hallows and see the spring of Olothen, where the water sprites nursed Faen back to life." said Tranor, looking at his son.   "Why can you not lie in the spring of Olothen? You would be healed of this disease upon you as the tales and legends say." replied Talnor.   "I have accepted my fate. And I would not want to mar the crystal spring where only the purest deserve to bathe."   Tranor looked upon the green hills. He gazed upon the spring and had to squint his eyes as the sun reflected on the water, making it look like the purest form of gold. This is where he would like to pass into the world where his forefathers now lived and prospered, reliving their greatest days. And this is where he would pass. Tranor, king of the Dwarves, elven destroyer, passed into the other world that day and as is the manner of kings, turned immediately to dust.
At the Hallows, lies the spring of Olothen, where water sprites carried Faen to and healed him. It is said that the waters still have power to heal but only the fairest and purest of heart can enter. It is unknown what would happen, should an evil spirit enter, but it is presumed that great damage would come to him.
