7 Feasts of the Bright One

Moons Past

In the Old Millennia there were 7 Feasts of the Bright One, all in their season: Spring and Autumn. These events follow after the phases of the moon and counted for days. These Feasts were of great import to the Bright One for His people as He conveyed a very special message to them, however when the time came for that message to arrive, it wasn’t received. Even though His own people rejected Him and His message, He preserved this message in form of a Magical Book which contains His Spirit.

Current Moon

Presently, the first four feasts are not widely known anymore, seemingly lost to the Ancient world. There are Three Feasts which are known as the Last Three Feasts, partly due to losing the first four, but also because they really are the last three known feasts.

The First Four Feasts

  • Crossover
  • Purity
  • First Yield
  • Fiftieth Day
  • These are the Feasts that have been fulfilled from Old Millennia into the New Millennia.

    The Last Three Feasts

  • Clarion
  • Redemption
  • Sanctuary
  • These are the Feasts that are still going on in the world of Mara today.

    Symbolism

Crossover: this signifies crossing over from death to life. Leaving an old life for the new. This feast includes fish, yeast free flat bread, chicken, sweet stew (carrots, prunes or raisins, root veggies and in some cases, chunks of chicken)   Purity: Only yeast free bread is eaten during this day. This represents purity from crossing over from death to life, a sin free life.   First Yield: The first harvest of each crop was given as an offering to the Bright One, while the rest of His people ate the rest and stored up for the days to come. This signifies a resurrection, by uprooting the crops from the ground. From seed the crops have grown into a new form.   Fiftieth Day: For such a joyous occasion anything clean was eaten. However today in the world of Mara, anything at all is permissible to bake or cook nutritious foods. Some regions have more seafood than other places, while others have more meat or vegetables and fruit. This day signifies the joy of freedom and the Bight One’s gift of Spirit.   Clarion: In the Old Millennia, this instrument was used to let His people know when to stop working in the fields and come into the temple and worship Him. In the New Millennia this is now a symbol for gathering His people who are all over the world of Mara. The star of this feast is the Trumpet Roll.   Redemption: This used to be during a time of deep sorrow in the souls of His people, much blood was shed to atone for their sins, this festival used to be called Atonement, but because of the fulfillments, it is now called Redemption as His people now wait for His arrival. Foods that are representative, like the pomegranate, strawberries, etc are eaten.   Sanctuary: In the past, the Bright One’s people would set up shelters and would worship in them when they were on the move. This is the last feast and a futuristic one which signifies the people being gathered to the Bright One before He makes His New Millennial Kingdom upon Mara. This is the Wedding Feast where tons of Believers get together and east a Great Feast with all kinds of food, each made by it’s own countries style.
