Argen

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Argen is the leader of the Stone Druids in the Kingdom of Elura, who are one of the most influential religious groups in Elura. Argen is known to be one of the most powerful druids on Melra, though it's not clear where or how he became so strong. He took over the position of Gebrorian from the previous head druid in a "duel" of sorts after accusing him of false teachings and displaying abilities and demonstrating feats that shouldn't be possible without magic. Argen's rise to power wasn't well received, however, as many of the Stone Druids believed that he was a fake and a cheater.

After Argen became the Stone Druids' Gebrorian, many Stone Druids left the calling and formed a different sect of Stone Druids (called Earth Druids) that was led by the Gebrorian that Argen overthrew.

Accomplishments & Achievements

  • Current Gebrorian for the Stone Druids
  • Oldest Druid to attain the position of Head Druid out of all Druid Circles

Failures & Embarrassments

  • Failed to keep most of the original Stone Druids in the order due to it being suspected that he cheated in his duel against the previous Gebrorian.

Intellectual Characteristics

Wicked smart and fast on the draw, Argen is said to be one of the wisest druids. His following is painfully low due to his radical teachings that go against what most other druids believe, but even his critics admit that when it comes to general advice and knowledge, there are few better to seek an audience with.

Morality & Philosophy

Contrary to what most druids believe, Argen believed that magic is not the ultimate source of power, especially when it comes to communing with the elements and nature. Argen believes that internal energy is far more potent than magical energy, and those that learn to wield it effectively can attain feats that those who solely use magic can only dream of. Argen postulates that by attuning to one's internal rhythms, one can truly "sync" with the forces of nature and gain their blessings.
