The Redcrow Letters

Deliver the supplies you promised, or even Silver Irikk won't be able to keep me away. This is your last warning.

The Redcrow Letters are a series of letters written by the famed bandit leader Redcrow to various allies and correspondents. They were only discovered years after his death, and are widely considered a unique insight into the dealings of the famed bandit leader.

Document Structure

Publication Status

The letters have all been compiled and published in a book known as the Redcrow Letters. It is widely available in libraries and bookstores across the province, and is considered a unique insight into the mind of the elusive bandit lord.

Historical Details

Background

A box of letters written by Redcrow were discovered behind a secret panel in the basement of the Leaves-Amid-Glass Courthouse. The building had been used as a base of operations for the Crows for years, but had been abandoned years before after their leader's death. Many believe that even Redcrow's allies did not know of the letters' existence, or else they wouldn't have left behind such valuable and incriminating information.

The letters are also notable because they were all written by Redcrow and yet never left his hideout. The bandit leader appeared to have kept copies of every letter he ever sent, although whether that is a particularly wise move for a wanted criminal is up for debate.

I've heard a lot about you and your business dealings. I've also know quite a few of your enemies know about your recent activities as well. Perhaps we can come to an agreement that would suit both of us. Meet me at western dock of Haven-By-Salt-Waters and come alone.

Legacy

The Redcrow Letters are perhaps one of the reasons why the name of the bandit leader is so widely recognized throughout West Jirithkae. The area has been home to many notable thieves in the past, many of whom rose to the same folk legend status that Redcrow achieved after his death. However, very few have written personal letters that have survived to the current day.

I'm sorry that the package you sent me was returned to you. I'm afraid I'm traveling at the moment and I do not have a permanent address to give to you. I promise I'll come and visit you sometime soon.
