Pashda found her on the floor, hidding in a corner, sachking and crying.
"What happens, little bird?" asks Pashda to her. "Don't be angry, I didn't want to but I think I remember someone, a woman, I think it's my mom!" she answers and with a quick hand movements, Pashda created an illusion of a woman, "It's her! That's the woman I saw!"
Pashda puts his hands at the sides of her head and touches her forehead with his, "oh darling, that's your beautiful mother, but we can't allow you to remember, don't we?" Pashda face draw a soft warming smile while her eyes opened in terror, "You have remembered her so much, this time I'll make sure I'll erase all her memories", Pashda kissed her head and a orange light envelop her head.
"What am I doing on the floor? Did I lose the ring again?" said a confused Efral. "You did, don't worry I've found it" says Pashda with a friendly smile and holding a black ring.

Efrals are Naphilian that were kidnaped by Dagetel and taken to their hot homes. Dagetel like to get Efrals to have a friend, a partner, or a slave, but as their homes are to hot for Naphilian, they mark the efrals with runes on the arms to both protect them and mark them.

Physiology

Efrals where once Naphilian from other ethnicities (mostly Reshta and Gemshel because geographically, these are nearby where most Dagetel live), and such they mostly look like their previous (or their family ethnicity as they might born from Efrals). The main difference though between Efrals and the rest of the Naphilian is the runes on their arms, their unnatural eye colour and the lack of tail.

History

Efrels started to "appear" 40 years ago, after the Dagetel had settled up and started to feel bored. The first Efrel is believed to have been 41 years ago, in a Dagetel community living in Nevaid's wrath, who saw the Naphilian as the only other sapience species around them that could fly, which was perfect as they lived in a floating island.
For the next 5 years, many Naphilian disappeared and turned into Efrals as the rumors about Efrals started to spread to other Dagetel communities and thought it would be fun. Nowadays, Naphilian disappearing to turn into Efrals is rare, as Dagetel prefer to breed the Efrals because it is easier to brain wash them and keep them.

Language(s)

With magic, any language that the Efral might have know before has been erased and they have been taught Iaganid so they cannot speak with Naphilian but they can talk with Dagetel.

Naming

Any name that might come from their old life is prohibited to be used and thus Efrals are named by the Dagetel that have them.

Taboos

The main taboos for Efrals are to speak or remember or even think about their past life, the life before Dagetel. Stories speak of painful punishments if an Efral does so but in reality, their Dagetel will simply erase the memories
