Binary

This was inspired by the World Anvil Summer Camp of 2021. This is for the article: A Lost or Ancient Language

Binary was a language created originally for a system of fractions by Alton City in the year 287. Later on it transitioned to a language solely for computer systems and automatons. The Language uses a system of 1's and 0's. This language eventually died out after Quantum Computers became common.   Binary remained unchanged since its creation. It is only one of two numeral languages. It has remained unchanged strictly due to it being a numeral language.   Binary only has two objects. They are 0 and 1. It is a base 2 system. There are 2 rows. In row 1 is colums in row 2 is values. The colum starts at 1. Then each colum to the left is multiplied by 2. A 1 in a value makes that colum true. While a 0 in a value makes that colum False. Thus 2 is 10 in binary.   See below for colums, values and how to get 2:
So to get 153 you will need 8 colums. Then 1 in colums 128, 16, 8, and 1. Since all other colums are 0 or false we ignore them. Then we add the colums with a true value together. So 128+16+8+1= 153. Thus 153 is 10011001 in binary, see below for more info:
Now reading binary into text they are only strings of 8 digits long. The first 3 to the left have to deal with capitalization. The next 5 deal with what letter it is. Capitalization is as follows: 010 = Upper and 011 = lower.   Were the letter is in the Common language(English) is the number it is associated with. This determines the binary code it will be. So the letter a is the 1st letter thus it is 00001 in binary. While the letter b is 2nd thus it is 00010. Then the letter c is 3rd thus it is 00011. See below for the chart:
So to get I am sorry Dave, I am afraid I can not do that:
  01001001 00100000 01100001 01101101 00100000 01110011 01101111 01110010 01110010 01111001 00100000 01000100 01100001 01110110 01100101 00101100 00100000 01001001 00100000 01100001 01101101 00100000 01100001 01100110 01110010 01100001 01101001 01100100 00100000 01001001 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101110 00100000 01101110 01101111 01110100 00100000 01100100 01101111 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01110100

History

The language was created for the scribes of Alton City as a system of fractions in the year 287. This allowed for quantifying fractions of grain, liquids or other measures.   In the year 497 the language was replaced with better mathematics. Records still existed within the Great Alton Library, but was forgotten about for many years.   In the year 3279 the language was found buried in the underground parts of the Great Alton Library. It was discovered by the mathematician Renat Talib when he was looking for old mathematic books. This discovery allowed for the breakthrough of digital electronic circuitry.   In the year 3429 the language was replaced by Quantum Binary. Quantum computers became common and cheap enough replacing everything that used Binary.
Language Family: Machine Language

This is so complex.....I love it :)

You should check out the The 5 Shudake, if you want of course.
