House of Solii
"Never have I ever seen so much gruesome death in a singular place. No battlefield could've prepared me for the horrors I faced upon walking in."
House of Solii
A mobile hospital originally set up by the Darkforge within Diasi, the House of Solii, and its primary physician, Kio Guku, has since evolved to be considered a mark of the scale and horrors of the war that has plagued Estya for hundreds of years. Seasoned veterans have been unable to stomach the stench of blood and the iron that hits their tongue the moment they step inside and see the rows upon rows of torn and bloody cots, nearly always filled with the dead or dying from the front lines. Few dare to peer around the red curtain that blocks out a section of the tent in the back, though they can decipher its purpose.House of Desecration
The House of Solii is called as such by the Darkforge's elite, and is named for the light of Solii that shines upon Estya. It is viewed as a place of healing and life, where valuable soldiers are saved and where they can recover before being transported back to their homes for leave. However, neighboring regions have called the House of Solii the "Scar of Nicaja", the "House of Desecration" and "a place where even the Angels do not tread." Wherever the House of Solii is set up, blood and death is sure to follow close behind, and many will flee at the sight of the dirty white canopy being erected, it's red and gold flag lifted high, as it is often the precursor to armies of silver and gold laying waste to their homes in a battle for superiority.Omens of Death
The House of Solii is seen to leave a bloodied scar across the land wherever it travels, and a permenant red stain marrs the ground of Diasi where the House is errected when not on the front lines of battle. Its presence is seen as a dark omen by the gods themselves, and its sole permenant occupant, Kio Guku, is well aware of the legacy his work is leaving behind."All I set out to do was to heal the wounded, save lives, and maybe change a few minds while I was at it. Instead, I have left a legacy of decay and displacement, and that is something I must come to terms with, should I hope to make amends someday."
"Once this war is over, we will all have sins to answer for."
- Kio Guku and Vala Eromin
