Morventhal deer
Basic Information
Anatomy
The bucks are muscular with a growth cluster of fungi underneath their heads. All Morventhal deer have four limbs and resemble a regular deer besides their hue and the fungi growing on them.
Biological Traits
The bucks horns are made from fungi, which can be harvested and made into a colorful substance that tastes much like milk. The does have slimmer bodies and their ears make them look very innocent, many predators therefore don’t attack the does.
Genetics and Reproduction
These reproduce like normal deer, and can also reproduce with said deer. These deer, however, only ever become like their Morventhal parent.
Growth Rate & Stages
Within 6-7 years they are fully grown adults, yet they are considered young adults until they reach 30 years of age.
Ecology and Habitats
They can survive outside of Morventhal, but they will often times find their way back to Morventhal, often together with normal deer.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They can live with out the fungi from Morventhal forest, but they need mushrooms to be fully functional.
Biological Cycle
The colors become more vibrant in the winter.
Additional Information
Domestication
Though they are not domesticated, they are very protective of other creatures in Morventhal, even outsiders. They will protect any friendly creature. from the dangers of the forest.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
They are hunted by the gnomes in the area for their skins and meat, their bones often being saved for jewelry and ceremonial relics.

Only found in Morventhal Forest.
Average Intelligence
They understand people that talk to them, but they have no language and so they use their telepathic abilities to convey feelings onto others.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Because these deer are plants, they are connected to the rest of the forest, and can sense danger from far away. They can give basic telepathic “feelings” to other creatures.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
A hue in either blue pink or yellow. The hair has a bit of a shine to it, and gives off just slightest glow. They have spots on them, often on their rears, with a lighter hue of the same color.
