Aprico Global

Aprico Global is a private security firm based in the Ucit city of Nesseg. The company maintains a varied client base spanning from private individuals to world governments. Their list of services includes law enforcement and military training, staffed security, cyber security, and security consulting. Aprico was first established in 2455, only a decade later it had already developed an infamous history. A history that was soon filled with active involvement in multiple oppressive military regimes and brutal labor management. Beyond the company's openly disclosed ethical dilemmas many have questioned the company's transparency when it comes to the full the scope of its revenue streams. The most infamous omission from their financial record was brought to light by a team of exiled Algan reporters who implicated Aprico in illegal arms sales made with the Algan government. This sale was of particular significance because the arms identified in the report were later used against the fleeing communities of Iklann. They were key to a military upheaval that would eventually be considered genocidal. Despite the company's involvement being clearly documented none of their employees were charged alongside the eleven Algan's imprisoned for committing war crimes.
The company's founders expected to play this sort of role at the company's inception. The original founding group consisted of four men, three Ucits and one Kobhet, all of which were former military for their respective nations. The company came into existence during a tumultuous period in Ucita's history. For many years there had been a brewing struggle for power which was evidently reaching a fever pitch by 2455. Gerson Huda, a regional governor at the time, had already been planning his path to power for several years. It was when he connected with Rufinne Simoka a field officer in the national army that the final piece fell into place. Both men sought greater power and chose to pursue it together by establishing the Ucit Liberation Movement (UCM). Huda agreed to do the political footwork if Simoka would find a way to arm the movement. Simoka first reached out to Sulkik Inadat a Kobhet he had served with in Sube. Once together they recruited two other men that had served alongside them. Less than two years later Aprico would be a rising organization and a massive contigent of its personnel would be storming Ucit strongholds under Gerson Huda's direction. By the end of 2457 Huda would be in power and Aprico would have an important ally.
