Father Leo

Father Victor Leon Evans (a.k.a. Leo)

Known largely for his insistence at neutrality, Father Leo is one of the most known Catholic Priests among the Demi world. While most priests might ignore the existence of Pantheonic demigods for favor of pretending their parents do not exist at all, Father Leo came in close contact with a pair of demis that were the reason he survived a particularly near-lethal encounter. Call it the fates working in his favor, or divine intervention, but Father Leo learned from that day that other deities do exist and that their children were capable of amazing feats of strength and miraculous gifts. It was only a handful of years later that he was made aware of the war of factions that raged around him.
One morning on an otherwise clear and unsuspecting day one of his saviors stumbled into his church. She was beaten within an inch of her life and being chased by the same people that had gotten her to that state. She was frantic and looking for a place to hide. That would be the start of Father Leo's services. From there, word of mouth brought demis from all different pantheons and deities to his doorstep. The cathedral was blessed many times over from the various pantheons that would visit it. It wasn't long before it was transformed from a modest church to a beacon of rest and salvation. An understanding spread through the demi factions. It was a place to seek refuge and any violation of the neutrality of the location would result in very real backlash. Prior to Father Leo's interventions, a neutral ground was completely unheard of, but now it is often used as a safe meeting ground as much as a place for a demi to lick their wounds.
