Third Island

An outcasted island that holds only Tertiary mages. It is far removed from the rest of the world and many tertiary mages have gone there seeking refuge. The island has very little known about it and once a Tertiary mage goes there they are not likely to return either because of the harsh journey through the monster-infested waters that surround the island or simply because it is the only place they are truly welcome so why would they leave. The island is quite large taking up a size equal to the melting pot and has a fairly large population of people living on the island which are all tertiary with a very few that are secondary colors. Often these secondary colors are hated by the people.
Many legends have been made about this island including many monster tales due to the island's proximity to the The Untames and the dangerous waters in the north of the island.

Geography

To the north of the island are violent seas that constantly crash it the islands northern high cliffs. These waters are hostile and violent causing the landscape in the north to be rocky and rigid. Often the people living in the north are the most powerful of mages because of the great power needed to live in this area. The area is mountainous and rigid with very little place for houses or people at all. Often the only creatures living in this area are various goats snakes and large cats.
To the south are much clamer waters with lots of sailing and fishing happening on the coast. The south has lots of palm tree climate with nice consistent weather and tropical fruits. Most of the people living on the island live in this section including lots of children. The area has some hills but is mostly flat.

Ecosystem

In the north the area is swarmed by powerful sea beast and some very scary normal animals like Pumas and snakes. The monsters often live in the water or have drifted from The Untames. These animals include Krakenss, Nixies, and the Cetus.

Natural Resources

Fish some ores and lots of good wood that is used for homes. They also have lots of parts bones and scales of large monsters that some of the inhabitants have killed.

History

The island was once used as a prison camp but became inefficient since transferring the inmates is often difficult or takes a long time. After some time they instead decided to leave the inmates on the island and abandon the project. Soon after the inmates were left alone and since most were tertiary mages they started to found their own government and society on the island. This first government ended in a power struggle and collapsed quickly after its inception. This lead to the creation of a more Democratic system that included the inclusion of each tertiary color as its own group tasked with solving its own problems and the representative of each group is given a say in how island affecting issues are decided. The first of these issues concerned trading with the central continent which was agreed should not be allowed with any of the major three governments. One of the other prominent decisions was the inclusion of a policy accepting any persons that have a three or more color mix.
