Korkmak

Korkmak is said to be the spirit of fear, Cesarets brother. He never got a world of his own because when he showed his plans to Cesaret they showed people hiding in their homes, or constantly running, a world of pure chaos. Cesaret couldn't let his brother destroy his world, so Korkmak was locked into the spirit world. Many have said if you go deep into the ground of Cesaret you can hear Korkmak's whispers. He tries to terrify the people into letting him out, but only Cesaret can break his bonds. He lashes out on the poor avifaunas who stumble upon his prison. He can't touch them, for he is in the spirit world, but he can affect them. He searches for fear, creates the illusion it's real. (You've heard of the fear room correct?) Their are many versions of the room of fear, one is the it's actually the prison of Korkmak. Instead of technology searching their brains it's him. The fear seams so real scientists have started inspecting the myth of Korkmak. They say theirs a prophecy of him, "One day when courage fades into the void, a new power shall arise. The power of fear. The streets will crumble, rivers will run red, the sky turned black. The world will be changed and no one can be saved." If he really is there, Cesaret might be in danger.

Spread

The myth is now common knowledge. It spreads around school, tv shows are made about it. Not everyone believes it, but they surly know what could happen if they stumble upon Korkmak.

In Art

A famous artist once did a painting about Korkmak. The canvas is all black. It caries two pairs of eyes, one yellow, one white. Underneath the eyes is a child, their arms in chains. He says the white eyes are Korkmak, the yellow are Cesaret. The child is chained by the fear Korkmak created. Many are disturbed by the painting, but some spend hours thinking about it. Fear itself is like a prison, maybe it's why Korkmak is kept in one.
