Iwati

Iwati is the mysterious language of the Osca. It was named this as it was first seen along a river named Iwati. Later it was connected to the the Osca kingdom and not the currant eleven settlements as previous thought. As more of the language was found carved on many artifacts that are found along the line between the Osocana mountain and the north eastern coast. It was then fully confirmed when a few students explored the lower levels of the Agonora magic school the only known building left of the Osca. Iwati is mixed between lines and dots forming for the most part a connected shape. While this is one of the least studied languages many are starting to gain interest in decoding the language. This change is partly due to more Manhazy elves making the claim again that they are descended from the Osca. Also that the Osca’s true heir will return to restore the kingdom. Another reason is due to the fact that there are more odd things happening around the mountain Osocana. A exploration group that had not been heard from in two years suddenly appeared in Mistwich with several books written in the Iwati language. Unlike any previous explorations groups they were normal, just had taken longer than they pervious thought. They found a small group of buildings that they explored however all communication were cut when they were there. They are now busy with a few other linguists to understand the language better. They were hoping that the Manhazy elves might have some insight. However it has been found that the writer langue of the Manhazy is closer to what the other elves on Owhua use than Iwati. There are several different families that do have very old texts that are written in Iwati. Most linguists are confused of the language drift if the Manhazy elves are descendants of the Osca.
