Crown Bound

As the Holy Empire falls from power the forces from the ashes to regain what is rightfully theirs.

Composition

Manpower

This a a specialized guard group consisting of just over a dozen soldiers. Each soldier specializes in a specific field or combat measure but they are considered professionals in their field.

Equipment

They keep with them tools necessary for their specialization. Over time they have had to hide and discard most armor pieces so they only have standard army issue weapons and armor

Structure

Run as a special team the majority of the time all of the guards stand on pretty much equal footing each taking charge in specific areas that appeal to their specializations. Most often though in general issues they defer to the master strategist of the team

Training

This organization has become incredible secret and specialized over the years. The only time a new candidate is trained is when and already existing member chooses to take on an apprentice and teach them their specialization.

History

When the Holy Empire came to power over the Three Kingdoms the royal families of each Place were overthrown and displaced. The Crown Bound were loyal soldiers in the army that helped the heirs escape and vowed to protect them until they were returned to power. As the the Holy Empire territory grew the Crown Bound retreated farther and farther into the continent with the heirs. Surviving attack after attack the Crown Bound numbers significantly dwindled. Eventually the heirs settled in towns in secret to live their lives. The Crown Bound settled in the same town, protecting them and keeping watch. They still stand guard over the descendants but the number of  Crown Bound have significantly finished to only a handful, being comprised of the descendants of the original guard and those of longer lived species.
