Lady Arabella Montclair is one of the key figures within the Veiled Society. Although she never wears a mask during the rites, it has not been possible to identify her as any real existing person, which suggests that she magically alters her face when in contact with the cult. Other cult members suspect that the Veiled Master is the only one who knows how the beautiful raven-haired woman truly looks.
Position within the cult
Her rank within the cult appears to be that of a deputy to the Veiled Master, although he has never explicitly stated such. It is, however, believed that she is his most loyal follower and would do anything to advance his goals. While every cult member has had private meetings with Lady Arabella, no one speaks openly about them. It is only certain that any thought of betrayal is eradicated after these encounters. Whether she holds perfect leverage over them or is such a skilled manipulator that she can bring even the greatest doubters back on the "right" path remains unclear.
Appearance
Lady Arabella is a seductive woman with long, jet-black hair cascading in carefully tended curls down her back. Her striking green eyes almost seem to possess hypnotic powers, enticing many to confide their secrets to her carelessly. Her movements are alluring and meticulously calculated for maximum effect. She typically accentuates her figure with luxurious, flowing robes or provocatively cut dresses designed to arouse the desires of her "subordinates." Coupled with a soft, erotic voice, even the most resistant minds can be ensnared.
Manipulative Beast
What makes Arabella so valuable to the Veiled Master isn't just her perfect body or her willingness to use it for his purposes. It is her manipulative nature, which she masterfully wields in his favor.
Skilled in the art of psychological manipulation, she can not only coax dark secrets to the surface but also push someone to break their own limits and taboos and act on their deepest desires. She uses her charm, intelligence, and seductive abilities to uncover her target's weaknesses and perverse longings - then assists them in fulfilling those desires.
Through these actions, she earns the trust and devotion of the other cult members, leading them down a decadent, lustrous path until they would give her and the Veiled Master everything - because if these things were exposed, it would destroy the cult member's life.
Loyal to the End
Above everything else, Lady Arabella's loyalty lies with the Veiled Master. She is devoted to him with heart and soul, completely convinced of his vision for the future. Her dedication to him makes her an extremely dangerous opponent, willing to do anything to remain loyal to her master. However, it also makes her vulnerable. How long would this loyalty last if he were to betray her?
