Guardians of the Kings of Vhara

Overview

The Guardians are the handpicked elite of the Army of Vhara tasked to protect the Kings of the Kingdom of Vhara- currently King Arrek Frosthammer and King Fozik Frosthammer. They will fulfill their charge to the death. This determination makes the Guardians a formidable defense for Vhara's Kings. The current leader is a warforged named Enitan who's history is not well known except to Vhara's royal family.

Appearance

The Guardians wear heavy armor lacking any kind of adornment. That is, their armor is practically bare metal. Whether they wear a strong kind of steel or actual mithral is a secret known only the the Guardians' armorer. The very lack of designs stands them apart from most other guardsmen or even any kind of soldier. Rumor has it that there are insignias and such written on the armor, but they can only be viewed by using certain kinds of magic.

Weaponry

The primary weapon of choice for the Guardians is a warhammer. The mages will often enchant these hammers with a deadly frost for additional damage. If the force of the hammer stroke does not kill an enemy outright the enemy will be inflicted with frostbite.
Hand axes are the secondary weapon of choice for many Guardians. Another choice is a hand-crossbow.
