Vibris, The Seat of Heaven

Among the many techanological breakthroughs of the Mechgeneers of BWOH City Name, none has been more ground-breaking and yet so frustrating to all the world of Sanctuary as the cure-all device known simply as Vibris, The Seat of Heaven. It is a two-part technology. The first part being The Seat of Heaven, seeming to be a naturally or divinely occuring stone structure upon the highest peak of the Mountains Hesh, and the Mechgeneer adjunct technology known as Vibris, added to the first part merely a decade after it's original discovery. While the effects of the stone throne itself were enough to make the original Mechgeneers rich beyond belief, the supplemental technology channels its effects into a single miniscule point of pressure and power, precise enough that it can be used as a cure-all medical tool for healing the most grevoius of ailments.

Some in power have even hinted at its potential to reanimate the dead. Though if it is true, rumors of such an incredible power have yet to reach beyond the upper echelons of those in rule.   The Annals of Time speaks of the first man to discover The Seat of Heaven. The Annals read:

With the invention of sails and the creation of compasses, many centuries ago, Pre-Gear, in the midst of the first seafarers of Sanctuary there was a man, named Mittickus, who could not stand the sea; his feet were better suited for stone and mountains. Having scaled the grand peaks of the Centeral and Eastern continents, westward he sailed with other 'Libertivas', to find a higher peak yet. While the waters of the Stormscar may have proved to be the greatest challenge of his ventures, higher peaks he did find, among the seaside ranges of BWOH Continent Name. There upon the utmost summit, alone and undisturbed by the cries of man and beast, The Seat was revealed to Mittickus.
Having always been troubled in his life with head pains, a skull-crushing affliction of the worst variety, he suddenly took ill upon that mountain at the lack of air in his lungs. Before turning to travel back down to his camp, the fog of clouds around him shifted and his eyes fell upon the base of a tall stone tower, fixed securely into the plateau ground. Entering the tower by way of a small open space in its side, Mittickus found a twisting stair climbing upward a ways to the top. Not a window or crack allowed him to see outside until he exited upon the pinnacle. There, in the center of the tower top, a stone seat was set, a throne hewn from rock black as the night sky. The throbbing in his head and the gasping of his lungs, urged Mittickus to return to his camp, his eyes now shut in the misery of his ailments, but onward he pushed the final few feet, until he collapsed in exhaustion upon the throne to rest. The haze of the world around him lifted and his eyes opened to a sprawling sea of white clouds around him, shining with the blinding light of the sun, beams of pure energy angled directly into his face. And then the sounds of heaven began. He felt the movements of the trumepets of heaven pulsing in his blood, the vibrations of the divinities as they paced across the skies. Not more than a moment he had sat there, when his heart and mind and body were suddenly filled to capacity with peace and hope and strength. Bursting from the throne, Mittickus all but flew in such a haste, back to the port of birth to which his vessel had born him. There he officialliy staked his claim on the mountain with all that he owned. Mittickus never fell ill again, until the day he died of starvation, settled there upon that throne, The Seat of Heaven.

Utility

While The Seat of Heaven acts as a focus point for the rays of the sun, the winds of the world and the movements of divinity, the Vibris Augmentation installed by the Mechgeneers focuses those three powers all the more intensely, so that they may be funnelled into any part of any being seated upon the throne, seeming to cure any sickness and mend any wound. Additionally, these three powers focused for long enoug can extend a human's life many years beyond what is natural, though regularly repeated sessions of seating are required.
Inventor(s)
The Seat of Heaven: Adjure, The god of Creation.
Vibris: Hesh, Alder Aldrenson, the Supreme MasterMind of the Mechgeneer's Guild.
Access & Availability
The technology of the Seat of Heaven is limited to the location in which it was discovered, one of the few reasons the capital city of BWOH was formed at the Hesh mountain's base.

A great rising lift has been installed to aid the richest travelers who seek healing at Vibris, but the price to visit is so great and the mountain guard so strict, that the few fortunate enough to be allowed access, are only ever privileged with a single visit.
Complexity
The technology of Vibris is so complex and so well guarded that no other human in Sanctuary has been able to reproduce it, no matter how long they are allowed to study it.
Discovery
Discovered by Mittickus, a mountain climber and Libertivas who found the seat by chance on a hike upon the highest peaks of the West, 106 Pre-Gear. Rediscovered and claimed by Aldren Hesh, the founder of BWOH City Name , in the year 99 PG.

Nice article. At first, when described, it gave me the vibe of the throne upon the mountain with the old man in the twelve tasks of asterix.   Did any settlement was made near the mountain to profit of possible bystanders and mechgeneers' daily needs ? or was there already one that profited of the discovery with tourism ?   Happy Summercamp!
