Steam Gardens

Steam Gardens is a city situated in the Garfaxin Kingdom . It is also the capital of the kingdom, containing the House of the Dictators and the Legislative Assembly. But perhaps it is the most interesting to know that this city holds the largest amount of exotic plants in large greenhouses. People visiting it go to the Greenhouses of God to see the varieties of plants that are exhibited there.

Defences

The city is built with a huge wall around it, which camouflages it from prying eyes. The wall is also loaded with crossbows which fire at the sight of a criminal. On the other hand, the AI controlling the crossbows knows everyone in the city itself, so it won't kill them or the people it is told not to kill.

Industry & Trade

The inhabitants of Steam Gardens are mostly either warriors or biologists since they take great care of their plants. The poor who cannot afford education often take up jobs as gardeners or as shops which sell gardening supplies. These are produced within the city itself. Some people also farm near the outer walls of the city, and they own large lands there.

Infrastructure

Steam Gardens IS the capital of the Garfaxin Kingdom, so it contains a lot of advanced infrastructures. The city itself blocked by a whole marsh and various trees. It is camouflaged from the rest of Acciphere using advanced mirror tech. The main complex is very beautiful, with the entrance to the legislative building being sided by waterfalls. There are also a lot of greenhouses on land, in the trees and even underground.

The city doesn't have many valuables except its amazing variety of plants, flowers, trees and herbs! It does have a lot of barracks where everyone including girls are trained for war and self-defence. So even when the city is attacked, every single person participates in the war.

History

The Steam Gardens was the second settlement built in the Garfaxin Kingdom. It was but a small town when the House of Dictators was built here. Due to this, the town grew and grew into the city that it is now. After a bit, the city was considered the best city in the kingdom and became the capital of the Garfaxin Kingdom. The city is well-known for its greenhouses, where a number of rare and exotic plants are grown, though it doesn’t have much tourism (due to its inaccessibility and because Garfaxians are known for their anger).

Tourism

Not many people visit this city as tourists since the Garfaxin Kingdom itself is not particularly known for its social ideals. But the people living in the city can call their relatives over as tourists and go roam with them the amazing locations and sceneries of the city.

Architecture

The buildings are mostly designed with sloped roofs to ensure minimum stagnant water left on the roof. The greek style of architecture was adopted since the architect who built Steam Gardens is a big fan of greek mythology. The buildings are designed in mind of usage rather than showing off since there is rarely an occasion where they show off their buildings. Only the government buildings are lavishly furnished and designed so that they can maintain that sense of decorum.

Geography

Steam Gardens is situated on an amazingly huge marsh with. All around the marsh the jungle just extends outwards like normal. But most importantly it can be said that Steam Gardens was built off the high cliffs of Zeus, a nickname that was given by the architect.
