HamerVold Coal

Hamervold Coal is a substance, which was and is used as a fuel for space travel. It was discovered on Acciphere (specifically the Ice Kingdom ) and was used by the Ardelus ships for travel. It is also used for sky craft in some cases. However, now, all Accipherian spacecraft and sky craft use HamerVold Coal as fuel.

Material Characteristics

Hamervold Coal looks just like ordinary coal; only the colour is grey rather than black, and it does not easily break. It also emits a lot of chaffing

Physical & Chemical Properties

HamerVold Coal is highly flammable, with it catching fire even without actual contact. When it burns it emits radiation and a lot of energy, used to our advantage to power Accipheran rockets and sky craft. It also turns blue under UV light and reveals interesting designs, each design pointing to where the coal was mined from.
Other properties include it being a sublimable substance, meaning that it directly changes from solid to gas phase.

Geology & Geography

This exclusive coal is only found in the depths of the Ever-Reaching Mountains in the Ice Kingdom. It is not found anywhere else on Acciphere, except sometimes in the LavaNord Kingdom. But even that is not a pure form of HamerVold Coal.

Origin & Source

The Ore of Hamervold must be exploited and used to our advantage to extract HamerVold Coal. This is found in very cold places, such as the Ice Kingdom. It is very important for the environment to contain that cold weather, or else it would burn up due to the heat.

History & Usage

Discovery

This coal is named after his discoverer, Sir Kutai HamerVold, a brave explorer who calls the Ice Kingdom home. He was scaling the peak of Shiveria when he accidentally fell into a cave. When he flashed his torch, he found a lot of rare ores lying around in the cave. Once he was able to get out, he wrote about it in his journal and told about its existence to the Council of Elders. They immediately ordered a bunch of men to go investigate and give them the facts and everything else about the ore, which they immediately did. Soon after, it was put into use. It became..common/

Distribution

Trade & Market

This item can be found mostly on the Dragontail Route, though it is much more common and cheaper in Wolfden and Coalfell (two settlements in the Ice Kingdom ).

Storage

HamerVold is usually stored in cold storage boxes such as refrigerators and freezers, but once being used, it's put into high-pressure chambers with fire that help it burn and emit energy.
