The Legacy of the Lovers' Moons

A promise was made to me in those dreams, that there shall be loves as bright as the moons found each and every day whether lost or new, of devotion or of fate. So long as there is light, bright and steady in the sky, so too shall it be found here.
— A Priest of Darkfalls as recorded in 'Divined in Dreams'

While the stories of Bryga and Dhirga are admired by many, some bemoaned the tragedy that the two never got the chance to live their lives in the realm they saved or sire a bloodline to carry on their legacy. However, it was said that priests and priestesses of Valyrhn foretold that so long as the moons shine bright in the sky, so too shall love as great as theirs find each other and tales of this love be shared throughout all of Auriga.

Loves Across Time

During the The Festival of Crossing Moons, a celebration of love in its many forms, lovers young and old seek out practicers of divination magic in order to learn who it is that was tied to them. However, many do so only to learn that it was much a mutual choice as it was their own-- meaning their other half must be searching for them as well otherwise, the will of another overrides what could have been.
While many search out who it is that they are Fated for, others instead wish to hear of the legendary lovers of the land as those of the Traveling Festival and Le Fete Carnival seem to hold many stories, some hailing from the Kingdom of Arvanoc to the far reaches of time in the lost kingdom of the sea. It is strangely noted that in each of these stories, one of the pair is affiliated with fire and inspiration and the other with weaponry either that of a thief or that of a traveler.
From the "Tale of Nox and Luc" to the rarely told "When Sword and Flame Meet", it is said by many bards that have studied the stories that the tales share in the spirit of the love between the moons and could be the stories foretold to come by the first priests so long ago. However, they believe that other great stories such as the great tale of camaraderie between the Fellowship of the Serpent Scroll also fulfill the prophecy foretold of great love as they firmly hold fast to the word of Valyrhn in that Brigga and Dhirga along with those that they had immortalized in the stars, symbolized love in all forms.
